Trip to Leeds

Year 6 had an action-packed visit to the north of England. After a very informative and moving visit to the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Nottinghamshire, the pupils were able to take in some of the sights of Leeds. They saw the remains of the city’s industrial heritage in its architecture, found out about the life of a medieval Cistercian monk at Kirkstall Abbey and took a journey through time at the City Museum. Highly popular as well were the bowling alley, the trampolining and the opportunity to make their own chocolates at the Leeds Chocolate Factory.
